Halo series: Reach-3:ODST

          Hey everyone, now I know this is my third post, but this one is going to be a special one. This one is going to be on the whole Halo series, I am going to do Reach, Halo 1-3, and Halo 3: ODST. and I'm going to do the order the way the games came out, so kind a like how George Lucas did it with Star Wars. And just let you know this is going to be a 5 parter. So each game is going to have their own post and I'm not doing Halo Wars.

          This is the this is from you quick update and there will be a Halo post this week. So get ready for it. Oh and I forgot I'm not including Halo 4. For two reasons, one because it has not come out yet, and two I am not really excited about it. So if you do not like me saying that, that I do not like or are not excited for Halo 4, then you just do not have to read my Halo post. And if you're wondering why I am separating all the games. Because they are so good that I can't do all in one post and they are so big it's hard to fit in one post. 

Have you met Slender Man yet?

          The meaning "Have you met Slender Man yet?" I like it and its funny. But does anybody know what means? If you do, your are keeping up with the gaming community. If you do not know what it means, well I'm going to tell you now. It is a meaning used in a game called "Slender". Slender is a Creepy, Suspenseful, Horrific game. WARNING!!!!! THERE MIGHT AND/OR PROBABLY BE SPOILER ALERT!!!!! IF YOU WANT TO KEEP THE SUSPENSE TO YOURSELF!!!! DON'T READ MORE OF THIS POST!!!!!!

          Now to go on, where you start in this game is in this Forest and you are given only a flashlight. So what your objective is simple collect the 8 papers or pages in the Forest and your done. Simple right? Well I don't think so, because each paper you get, more and more the music get suspenseful. Each page gets a music add-on. And here is why the meaning "Have you met Slender Man yet?" came up. Cause when you pick up a page more and more the Slender Man follows you. "How do you know?" you ask, cause when you behind you, the screen get static and sometimes The Slender Man his hiding, or SPOILER ALERT!!!!!! He might get you, and you you'll know, when he does get you you'll know, but I'm not going to tell you what happens. I mean come on I'm not going to tell you more then that, I still want to keep some suspense. But I want to give you two tips before I get into the depth. Tip 1: Do not run, The Slender Man will track you faster and follow you faster. And Tip 2: After the 6th page The Slender Man is right behind you. And those of the tips you should keep in mind.

       


         Now enough talking about the game now let's break it down a little bit. I mean that's why you signed up for my blog site right? Now let's talk about the environment shall we? Now I like it how they put in a forest, it gives a more that wide and open environment, and how it it is at nighttime to a gives it the creepiness of the enough forest. Now it's cool it gives you different settings for the graphics, you can have a different feeling in the environment, whether be okay to spectacular graphics. I think the music should be next that you think? Now why did they pick the creepy, suspenseful, Jaws (like the main theme song of Jaws) type of music? Because if you think about it for a second this game would not be creepy, if you didn't have the suspenseful type of music. Because that's what really makes this game,of course the environment, but without the music I have a doubt the this game will be less scary, creepy, and suspenseful without it. Now let's talk about Slender Man. Now if you think about it, slender man looks kind of like G-man from Half-Life, don't you think? Slender man in G-man, have the same type of outfit. But G-man his coat and pants are mainly navy blue and I think he has a red tie and I'm not sure and he has a face too. I think that's why Slender Man is creepy because he looks formal but he doesn't have a face to go with it and I think the black outfit really blends in with the forest kind of like wearing a camel liked it like the military does but in formal uniform.So I think that's what I'm going to talk about Slender, I recommend playing this game it's a lot of fun, but it is creepy though so it is not for the faint of heart that is for sure.           Now around the wintertime I am planning to do a one-off of this game on YouTube. Like I said it will be a one-off but it will be "Let's Play" and I am probably well do it with one of my friends so to be more fun and funny. Just a big FYI there will be a lot of..... Like I'm going to tell you?! You're just going to have to wait until the December and I am just going to stick with Amnesia. Oh and I forgot the "Let's Play Doom 3" will be continued, but I might do it with my friend, who is doing the one-off Slender with me.

Doom 2 (My favorite video game of all time)

Ok to start out on my first post about a my favorite video game of all time. Now some people (I have seen) start out on the first game ever made, Pong (if you don't know that, which would be scary if you didn't know that). Some people might talk about new games out there. But rarely I see someone's favorite game as there first post. So I'm going to do that, my favorite video game of all time is, Doom 2.

          And some people ask my "Why do you pick Doom 2, out of all the games in the world, even games today that beat it?" And I say "Well a lot of games today do not mount what Doom 2 is." And hear is the reason why. 

          Because this was the 3rd first-person shooter made by id software and this was there 11th game made. But why I like it over Wolfenstein 3D and Doom, is because. Wolfenstein 3D was great, the real first-person shooter (over the arcade games like Battlezone, a so to say "first-person" but your in a tank) so thats what mean. But the graphics are ok, and I understand the graphics were great back then, but it was the best. 

          And thats when Doom came out. Now the graphics were more 3D and the music was better. The plot was good and the monsters were awesome too. But when Doom 2 came out, there is just something that made it better then Doom. 

          I think its longer, you get the super shotgun, more monsters, and I think the IA of the monsters from the first one is harder. The plot was longer (like I said before) and was more better and cooler, and I liked how it continued from Doom. 
And like how it went to Earth and how the character started on Earth went back to Hell to stop the monsters crawling to Earth. 

          And the last level to end it was the coolest, but so hard. In my opinion harder then the Cyberdemon and the Spider Mastermind both bosses are on the last level on Episode 2 and 3 not together though separate. 



        The reason why it was so hard was, the opening of head shoots out different monsters (not including the Cyberdemon and Spider Mastermind) and they tried to stop you from doing this. WARNING!!!!! SPOILER ALERT!!!!!! I am give away how to beat this level, if do not know how to beat it and you want to figure it out for yourself. DO NOT READ THIS PART!!!!!!!!! You have to go up these steps, well you have to take down a level and brings you up. You have to flip a switch that brings up the this elevator, in front of the head. And what you have to do is take the elevator up (it goes slow) and shoot 3 rockets into the opening of the head. If you do get one in the monster will scream or shout. If you successfully get all 3 rockets in there the Head will blow up. Sounds easy right? WRONG!!!! 

          
    
          Because the elevator is on poison, and you have to wait for the elevator to come down, so you can't stay there forever. And the harder difficulty level the less invulnerability you get and on "Hurt Me Plenty" and the harder levels they put the Revenant where the radiation suits are. And like I said the monsters are there to stop you. And if you die don't have to save it, because at the start they have all the weapons in the room, so if you die, you can get all of weapons in one room. And FYI you want to blow the head up as fast as you can, cause more monsters comes in and none of them go away (unless of course then they will go away). 

Like I said before Doom 2 in is better then Doom 1 in my opinion and its my favorite game of all time.

The Grand Opening of New and Old Video Games in review

Hey everyone, if you are a video gamer. You like old and new video game. And would like to know more about video games? Know the depth? Know the music? And just want to hear it from a gamer perspective. What this blog going to consist of is a game: Music, the plot, what to know more about it, and/ or the art? Or talk about a gaming company.
